Bristol Ramblers
Location: Based in Bristol, walks around Bristol and surrounding areas
Cost: 3 free taster walks available; membership to Ramblers is aroun £4/month (usually paid yearly)
Info: They have a full programme of walks available on their website, some within the city, many in the immediately accessible surrounding villages/countryside around Bristol, and some further afield around Bath, Devon, Dorset, and Wales.

Brunel Walking Group
Location: Based in and around Bristol and Bath
Cost: Taster walks available for free, then membership by joining the UK Ramblers (£4/month, usually paid yearly) – members get discounts in certain stores, and access to more information online
Info: For walkers in their 20s, 30s and 40+; they put on pub social nights too, and walk around Bristol, Bath and the Brecon Beacons mountains in Wales. They also do camping trips further afield. Club is over 400 members strong.

Stoke Lodge Ramblers
Location: Stoke Bishop (about 15mins by bus and walking from school)
Cost: Free
Info: Walks on Thursdays and weekends; focus on the Bristol area and immediate surroundings, but some trips further afield are available. Weekend walks are 7-11 miles (11-17km), weekday walks are either short (4 miles/6km) or medium (5-7 miles/8-11km).
