Main Course Starting Dates 2027:
The school is open from 4 January – 17 December.

Our main start dates are as follows:
- No total beginners.
- Elementary level students must usually start their course on a main course starting date (and may need to be tested before we accept their enrolment). Please check availability with the school first.
- Minimum period of enrolment: 1 week for General English Courses (4 weeks for Exam Preparation Courses)
- Public holidays:

- 30 August
The school is closed and there are no classes on these days.
- Summer Course dates: 21 June - 17 September 2026.
- In 2028, courses start on Tuesday 4th January.
Tuition Fees 2027:
Deposit: £400
This is not an extra charge. It is deducted from the total fees.
Registration Fee: £60.00
Materials Fee: £75.00
The materials fee includes ELC Bristol e-learning and a course book every 12 weeks.
1-3 weeks - £375 per week
4-10 weeks - £365 per week
11-19 weeks - £355 per week
20-29 weeks - £340 per week
30+ weeks - £330 per week
+ £30 per week high season supplement 21 June - 17 September (not payable on courses of 10+ weeks)
Private Lessons: Can be arranged in advance (£49 per hour) or on arrival at the school.
Accommodation Fees 2027:
Accommodation placement fee: £60
If possible, students should arrive on a Sunday and leave on a Saturday.
Homestay (Half-board)
£250.00 per week for over 18s (£275 for under 18s - please check, as limited availability)
Includes bed (single room), breakfast and evening meal.
+ £30 per week Special Dietary Requirement (subject to availability)
Student Houses & Flats Year Round (Self-Catering - For students 18+)
£275.00 per week for standard rooms
£285.00 per week for en-suite rooms

Summer University Residence (Self-Catering - For students 18+)
£285.00 per week (En-suite Rooms)

Young Adult Summer Residence (Half-board - For students 16-17)
£390.00 per week (En-suite Rooms + Onsite Residence Managers)
Includes bed (single room), breakfast and evening meal.

Late Arrival: Please try to arrive in your accommodation by 22.30. Arrivals after this time will incur a late arrival fee of £25.00.
Extra nights' accommodation:
£50.00 per night for homestay and self-catering (if available).
£65.00 per night for the Young Adult Summer Residence (includes half-board)

Bristol Airport - £75.00
Heathrow - £270.00 + £40 supplement for terminal 4 arrivals due to parking restrictions

Cambridge English exam preparation courses are not 'closed', which means that students can join the course at a later date if they are not able to attend for the full period (minimum period of enrolment: 4 weeks), provided they are at the right level.

Please note that students are responsible for booking the exams themselves. Cambridge exam fees are payable direct to the exam centre. The fees quoted above are approximate and subject to change.
All Cambridge exams in 2027 are computer based, except for the FCE exam on 19th June, which is paper based.

IELTS
Courses are run throughout the year. The IELTS exam is held every month in Bristol and Cardiff.
