There are lots of opportunities to play golf in Bristol and the surrounding area!

Playing golf in Bristol is a great way to explore the wider Bristol area whilst also getting to know native Bristolians and making new international friends!

There are golf clubs in Bristol, and golf clubs in the countryside around Bristol.  Membership to golf clubs is usually quite expensive, but the courses in the area are in great condition and many in very scenic areas!  Many clubs offer visitor passes, so you don’t have to pay for full membership to play golf in Bristol.

Bristol and Clifton Golf Club 

Location:  Bristol and Clifton Golf Club is about a 1hr walk from school, 50mins by bus from Clifton 

Cost:  £503/year/student for full annual membership; £85/weekday; £95/weekend day; after 4pm £50/£55

The Players Club 

Location:  Travel to Yate (about 45mins by bus) then taxi to the golf course 

Cost:  Monthly membership starts at £200 (low season) and £300 (high season); Rounds start at £65 and days start at £120

The Bristol Golf Club

Location:  Cribbs Causeway (about 45mins by bus from Clifton) 

Cost:  Memberships start as low as £35/month after a £150 joining fee (age 18-21); Evening sessions start at £25/ball for non-members
