Main Course Starting Dates 2026:
The school is open from 5 January – 18 December.

Our main start dates are as follows:
- No total beginners.
- Elementary level students must start their course on a main course starting date (and may need to be tested before we accept their enrolment).
- Minimum period of enrolment: 1 week for General English Courses (4 weeks for Exam Preparation Courses)
- Public holidays:

- 4 May
- 25 May
- 31 August
(No classes on these days)
- Summer Course dates: 22 June - 11 September 2026.
- In 2027, courses start on Monday 4th January.
Tuition Fees 2026:
Deposit: £400
This is not an extra charge. It is deducted from the total fees.
Registration Fee: £60.00
Materials Fee: £60.00
The materials fee includes ELC Bristol e-learning and a course book every 12 weeks.
1-3 weeks - £365 per week
4-10 weeks - £355 per week
11-19 weeks - £345 per week
20-29 weeks - £330 per week
30+ weeks - £320 per week
+ £30 per week high season supplement 22 June - 11 September (not payable on courses of 10+ weeks)
Private Lessons: Can be arranged in advance (£75 per hour) or on arrival at the school.
Accommodation Fees 2026:
Accommodation placement fee: £60
If possible, students should arrive on a Sunday and leave on a Saturday.
Homestay (Half-board)
£245.00 per week for over 18s (£270 for under 18s - please check, as limited availability)
Includes bed (single room), breakfast and evening meal.
+ £30 per week Special Dietary Requirement (subject to availability)
Student Houses & Flats Year Round (Self-Catering - For students 18+)
£265.00 per week

Late Arrival: Please try to arrive in your accommodation by 22.30. Arrivals after this time will incur a late arrival fee of £20.00.
Extra nights' accommodation:
£45.00 per night for homestay and self-catering (if available).
£60.00 per night for the Young Adult Summer Residence (includes half-board)

Cambridge English exam preparation courses are not 'closed', which means that students can join the course at a later date if they are not able to attend for the full period (minimum period of enrolment: 4 weeks), provided they are at the right level.

IELTS
Courses are run throughout the year. The IELTS exam is held every month in Bristol and Cardiff.
