Circus Skills in Bristol

There are a lot of venues available to practice circus skills in Bristol!

Bristol is a great place to practice circus skills because the city is proudly very circus-friendly!

Bristol has a huge circus skills population, with various venues offering different levels of tuition, practice space, and shows!  Read below to find out more information!

Circomedia 

Location:  St. Pauls (about 30mins by bus from Clifton) 

Cost:  Courses are usually in 7-week blocks and cost around £100 

Info:  Classes available in Aerial Hoop, Static Trapeze, Rope, Stilts, Acrobatics, Handstands, Strength and Skill, Flying Trapeze and Juggling.  The school is in an old church and has a great atmosphere!

Circus Space 

Location:  Bristol City Centre (about 20mins by bus from Clifton, 40mins walking from school) 

Cost:  Classes are £12-£15; Room and equipment hire is £25/hr or £200/day 

Info:  Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks and Aerial Rope classes available here, as well as AcroYoga (acrobatics and yoga in one!).  This is also a space that you can book to simply train/practice on your own.

The Albany Centre 

Location:  Montpellier (about 35mins by bus from Clifton) 

Cost:  Classes are £12-£15 for drop-ins, around £50 for block bookings of 4 sessions.  Speak to them about the fees for hiring the space as an individual. 

Info:  Pilates, Aerial Silks, Silks and Ropes, AcroJam, Aerial Conditioning, Trapeze, Chinese Pole, and Aerial Hoop classes are available.  You can also use the space to train in alone, for a hire fee.
