ELC Bristol is the joint number 1 English Language School in the UK, based on British Council inspectors’ publishable statements. Established in 1969, ELC Bristol is a family-run school, well known for its personal care and attention to each individual student.
Our kind, caring and dedicated teachers have an average of more than 20 years’ experience, including an average of 9 years at ELC, and our Cambridge exam pass rates have generally been better than the national average.
Full-time intensive General English courses and preparation for the Cambridge and IELTS exams – suitable for motivated students. We are open all year round and run a full range of classes even in winter.
An excellent mix of nationalities, with students from over 30 different countries and an average of 90 students in the school. The average age is 23 and the minimum age is 16. There is no maximum age and there is always a good number of mature students in the school.
