- Some clubs will charge membership, others are more flexible and you can turn up when you want and pay on the day
- You will need to bring your own sports clothes and shoes
- Some clubs may play competitively against other teams in the area
- If you don’t like the look of these clubs, there are many more – get in touch and we’ll do our best to find the right club for you
Saints Old Boys
Location: Training at Lockleaze (about 40mins by bus from Clifton); Matches at Clifton Downs (about 10mins walk from school)
Cost: £5/training session
Info: Playing competitive matches every Saturday during season time (kick-off 2pm); training sessions held every Wednesday, 8-9pm; five teams in total, of varying abilities

Talk and Football
Location: Clifton College Sports Ground
Cost: Free
Info: Contact the captain first before arriving. This is a men’s talking club, focusing on mental wellbeing for men with a game of football after the talk. Every Thursday at 8pm.

Bristol United Football Club
Location: South Bristol
Cost: Contact for membership prices
Info: They have two competitive teams which practice on Wednesdays (in-season) and on Tuesdays and Thursdays (pre-season). They host regular team events, bonding activities, etc. Matches are played in Brislington. Get in touch for a trial session.
