A cappella singing is a great way to practice vocal control, rhythm and timing – and you’ll also make some new international friends to help you practice your speaking skills in your free time!

Bristol A Cappella 

Location:  Clifton (about 15mins walking from school) 

Cost:  First 2 rehearsals are free, then £29/month 

Info:  Taster evenings and group practice is on Tuesdays.  They were the 2023 champions of a capella in the UK!

Free Range A Capella 

Location:  Stoke Bishop (15mins walk from Clifton, samy by bus) 

Cost:  Unknown – contact them to find out! 

Info:  Sight reading music is necessary to join – they are specifically looking for sopranos at the moment!  Thursdays, 7pm-9pm.

Location:  Southmead (about 30mins by bus from Clifton) 

Cost:  Unknown – contact them to find out! 

Info:  Rehearsals are roughly monthly, taking place at the weekend and lasting a full day.  Auditions to join are necessary.  You can visit a rehearsal to watch and see if they are right for you.
