Afternoon Tea

We love going to Brown's for Afternoon Tea, a great British tradition. You get a huge pot of tea, delicious finger sandwiches, and lots of cakes, especially scones with jam and clotted cream. Mmmmm!

Whenever we go to Bath, we are sure to have an incredible time. Following Andrew's interesting tour of the city, we visited the Roman Baths, a fantastically well-preserved, two thousand-year-old Roman bathing complex. Fascinating.

New Students

Welcome to all our new students who arrived this week. After lunch we took some of them for a bracing walk to see our most famous attraction, the Clifton Suspension Bridge. We hope you will all be very happy here.

On Bank Holiday Monday we all went to Bath on the train with Andrew, our social organiser, Although it was quite a rainy day, we enjoyed Andrew's interesting tour of the city and our free time.

We all had a lovely day out in beautiful, historic Oxford. After a guided walking tour in the morning, we had the whole afternoon to explore by ourselves. Many of us visited Christchurch College, the largest of the university colleges, and inspiration for the Harry Potter films.
